Microsoft Streets & Trips 2013, Windows 7, installing loop, program won't open!

I just installed the MS Streets & Trips 2013 14 day free trial first time ever. I turned off my antivirus software first. The entire download process works correctly. It leaves me with two icons. The pretty color map icon, and a folder icon. I click on the map and it starts a wizard to install it..I go through the steps.. and essentially it reinstalls the whole program again as copy (1), copy (2), etc... it never lets me access and USE to program.. it just keeps asking if I want to repair/reinstall or unistall... I've done it 4 times now. I have Windows 7.

It is possible the incorrect icon or link was created as the installation did not finish fully. Type Streets.exe in the search box above the start button and launch the result. See if that starts the program.

If it does work, do it again and drag the icon to the desktop. You can rename it after deleting the other incorrect icons

Paul4444 - Did you get things resolved? It sounds to be like you downloaded the software then ran the installer. This is the right thing to do but after S&T has been installed you do not need the installer again. To launch the software use the start menu. Hope that helps.

Try setting compatibility for Windows XP SP3

My OS is W7 Pro 32/64 and I set compatibility to XP SP3, helps. I said no to repair, I use ZA works best.
