Getting voice directions in Streets & Trips while the music is on
perry59
I'm using my Windows tablet as a source for music and my GPS.

I believe that Streets & Trips is supposed to pause Windows media player when it has voice instructions to give. Thing is though, I HATE Windows media player and removed it from my tablet (I use JRiver). I was hoping that at least Microsoft Anna's voice could still be heard while the music's on, but such is not the case. Right when I know an instruction is about to come up, the music stops but no instruction can be heard. Then the music starts in a few seconds from the beginning of the album (not where it left off)!

Does anyone have any tips for getting S&T to play a little nicer with other audio? Or, am I just going to have to forget listening to music if I really want the voice instructions?

Thanks

Guess no one has had an issue with this?

You're going to have to learn to love Windows Media Player I guess!

You can leave S&T on. Just turn off navigation except when you really need it. Your only conflict is when there are voice directions from the navigation function. Or just turn off voice guidance.
