NEED HELP: OziExplorer and MrSid Topo maps

I dont understand why this isnt working. I downloaded all of the NJ topos from datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov. I have the latest version of OziExplorer with the Mr.sid DLL importer. The maps come with the .sdw files that SHOULD automatically configure my map to be accurate. I follow instructions every time.

I import the map same steps as a DRG and for some reason it still asks for manual calibration. So I further follow the instructions on manual calibration.

-I changed the map datum to NAD27 Consus (as I have read they are formatted. I also tried wsg84).

-The Projection is UTM.

-The hemisphere is set to S as the file name shows (which doesnt make sense since NJ is the northern hemisphere.)

-For the grid zone I'm a little lost since the file names arent formatted like Ozi's site says they should be. Here is the format they come in "drg_s_nj001 , drg_s_nj003" and they continue like that to drg_s_nj041.

Everytime I hook my gps up and goto load map at current location it just says theres no maps loaded with this location. What gives...
