Streets and Trips 2009 with GPS Locator on Vista 64

I've been using the Streets & Trips with GPS Locator 2008 on my laptop. Everything works fine, but now I just purchased a new laptop with Vista 64. I installed the software, everything went okay, plug the GPS locator in the usb port, but it can't find the GPS after doing a scan.

Mmy question before buying the new Streets and Trips 2009, will I have the same problem when using the GPS?

Tthank you

If this is the Microsoft-branded GPS receiver, you should not have any problems with 2008 either.

Run Windows Update to get the 64-bit driver. It will show up as an optional update.

Hi renper1,

Welcome to the forum!

Another tip: Be sure to have the GPS locator connected prior to checking for updates.
