HomeMicrosoftWish List

Streets & Trips needs "Favorites" and "Home"

There is one feature that seems to me completely obvious, that neither Microsoft (nor anyone else as far as I know) has included: An address book with user-stored names and addresses. Isn't it obvious that I should be able to map out a trip by using the words "home," or "office," or "Bill & Michelle," etc.? I can't believe that such a feature would be all that difficult, and its desirability is obvious.

My guess would be that the option for importing data from Outlook without having to convert to someother kind of file type really fits that bill.

Could you explain how to import a Outlook 2010 address book into Streets & trips 2013? Thanks

In general, importing data (contacts) from Outlook using the Import Data Wizard will follow the same procedure as importing any data. The only difference is that you will need to specify the contact folder that you want to import before continuing with the import process.

I don't know which version of S&T you are using, but if you are using for example the 2011 version and previous, S&T Keys free add-on offers these features until S&T adds them: home navigation pressing a single <Home> key and favorite navigation to a user specified list of any address.

You can find it free in my signature in this forum...
