Spoof Tube announcer, Emma Clarke, to become the voice of ALK CoPilot
Emma Clarke is famous as the official announcer for the London Underground, speaking the immortal words 'mind the gap' to millions of commuters every day.
Tube bosses last month refused to provide any more work for Emma Clarke, 36, from Altrincham, after she criticized the system in a Sunday newspaper interview, and sent up her role by placing the fake broadcasts online. Read more » Michael Kornhauser, Managing Director ALK Technologies, said: "Emma has a great voice and a fantastic sense of humour." Users of the new PDA version of ALK CoPilot Live 7 will soon be able to add Emma's voice direction prompts to their system.
