A couple of versions ago I had a brief look at version 8 of this product. The curent version number is 10, and I will soon receive it, and then review it here at
Laptop GPS World.
In the mean time here are just few notes:

ALK CoPilot Laptop 10 comes with map of USA/Canada
* It is possible to buy additional European map
* The same product is sold in Australia by TravRoute
* This software program is popular among RV owners, because this is the only product in its class which is actually capable generating routes designed for large vehicles (avoiding low bridges, sharp turns, etc). But of course, the program can be used not just by drivers of RVs and trucks, but by anyone. Full review will come soon
