A user contacted me regarding a problem:

I registered this past weekend and can log in but apparently still haven't been validated yet.

The registration procedure, (if all goes well), is quick and easy. A user types in his user name, password, e-mail address, (and feel free to ignore the rest), and click OK. Done!

After that an e-mail is immediately sent to you. The e-mail message contains a "confirmation link". Just click it, and instantly the website software approves you as a "Registered Member".

However, occasionally something may go wrong, for example the website doesn't send the e-mail to you, or the e-mail ends up in your Spam Box instead of your In Box.
