Question Font Size

Hi, Marvin
I like your web site but ...
My poor old eyes have problems with the small font. In my IE 6, changing the View -> Text Size does not change the text size that I see. In FireFox, I can easily change the text size up two notches by hitting the plus key with the control key held down, and your web pages become very readable for me. Being a VBScripting guy, I prefer leaving IE as the default browser. Is there a way in User CP or IE to change text size?

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum!

The following may or may not work in IE6, but it does work in IE7 that came with Windows Vista.

Try this: While keeping the Control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard pressed down, move the mouse-wheel. Moving the mouse-wheel one direction should zoom-in, and moving it the opposite direction should zoom-out the web page viewed.

If you are not using a mouse with a wheel, but rather you are using just a laptop, you may use the middle "mouse" button on the touchpad to achieve the same.

Smile Re: Font Size

Thanks for the tip. In my WXP SP2 IE6, doing the control-mousewheel thing changes the font size of this text below your signature, but nothing else:

In Vista IE7 everything changes size.

Yes, I managed to test it on a PC with IE 6.0, and indeed only some text changes its size. On IE7 (Vista or XP) everything changes its size (text, images, etc).
