DeLorme Street Atlas 2010 available for pre-order

There is no mention of what new features the upcoming DeLorme Street Atlas 2010 will include, but it is now available for pre-order. Last year's DeLorme Street Atlas 2009 added the optional UMPC interface and several other enhancements, so let us hope the new Street Atlas 2010 will be a worthwhile update, too

As usually there with be the "basic" and the "Plus" version. DeLorme Street Atlas Plus in the past versions included a "phone book" feature which allowed advanced phone and address searches for businesses and people. Some users purchase Street Atlas for this feature alone!

Street Atlas 2009 had issues looking up certain Canadian addresses. I'm eager to find out if this was addressed in the new DeLorme Street Atlas 2010 (it was promised to be addressed).

Lets hope NavMode has been fixed...

Last year trying to drive from Yonge and the 401 in toronto to Oakville using the 403 instead of going south on the 427 was almost impossible because you were routed NORTH instead of south. They had that connection all screwed up. Hopefully they fixed that one too. Set 401 exit 369 as the start, QEW exit 118 as the end, and the southbound lanes of the 403 north of exit 124 as a via and observe the nonsense. North off of the 401 to Courtney Park Dr on the 410, then off and across the bridge and back onto the 410 southbound! I did tell them about it, so hopefully it is now fixed.
