Re: Review: DeLorme Street Atlas
I like the software, and have used it for many years. I just wish it would work natively on Macs and Linux. Does anyone know how well 2010 works with wine, or parallels?

Re: Review: DeLorme Street Atlas
Topo 9, I know, works well under Parallels. I have an iMac/2.6 with 4 GB RAM and 500 GB disc and once Topo 9 gets going it works reasonably well. I cannot speak for this particular software but since they're both made by DeLorme it should be OK.

Re: Review: DeLorme Street Atlas
Wow .. this is a great piece of software .. I am a fan of the larger laptop screen and easier input from the desktop, but the Delorme SA 2010 is excellent
The the E-Z Nav wizard makes things a lot easier to implement

Re: Review: DeLorme Street Atlas
Thanks Marvin, Laptop GPS World and DeLorme! I look forward to this as I have been a user since Street Atlas 8.0 and AAA Map 'n' Go.
Now if I could just win a PN-30 somewhere... by the time I can afford it they will be Legacy units!
Congrats to all the other winners also!!!

No as the routing data does not include overheight or load limit information.

Re: Review: DeLorme Street Atlas
I recently loaded the 2010 version after using DeLorme Street Atlas 2004, thru 2009. Although I also purchase MS Streets & Trips, I have not had much chance to try it yet. My plan was to compare both.
So far I've done planning on some 5000 miles but I did not find 2010 being any different than the 08 or 09 versions.
Apparently I just jumped right back into the new version without really learning about the features of 2010. To date I have found it extremely difficult to plan trips. It causes too much going back and forth from searching for POI's and Campgrounds then going back to revise the routes.
I'll post more as I use it more and try out some of these new features.
