did you make sure the icon on your desktop for 6.14.1 is actually pointing to the MapSource executable?

Hi...Iīll explain looking at your image:if you go to "advanced" at the down-right corner and click on it, it lets you configure the excecutable file to have "administrator attributtes" in Windows Vista.(The same if you right click on cubic Mapsource icon).Iīve had had to do that because when I wanted to add 3rd.Party developped maps or Detailed & routable maps made for my region (Uruguay and Argentina)(Brasil also)which makes and writes a gmapsupp.img file on Garmin PC directory , Vista dinīt allow me to do it.With that change....it works.
The second...again...right clicking on the mapsource icon>open file location...there was the excecutable mapsource file.Iīve checked everithing...but worldwide Iīve read too many missworking of this new version.
My working conditions are a HP Pavilion tx 1000 tablet PC AMD Turion 64 x 2 1.6 Ghz 1 Gb RAM , OS Windows Vista Home Premium and
Garmin Mobile PC V 5.00.30 (last update) with Garmin GPS 20x sensor.Off course...maintaining V. 6.13.7 mapsource version.
Maybe the initial report " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" means something 4 the "Gaarmin Team"...!!!...Iīll wait till further notices and finally report to Garmin Support.
Many thanks for your reply
