Laptop GPS World

Does anybody know where I can find some *.gtt files to have Garmin Mobile PC customized to other languages ?!

I'm looking for, especially for Brazilian Portuguese...

I don't know the answer to your question, but since there has been no reply in a few days, I though I would at least say to Laptop GPS World.

If there is no .gtt for Brazilian Portuguese, have you looked into creating your own translation? Perhaps it would not be too difficult, but I don't know, as I haven't done it myself.

Hi Oscar ; I`m Jucabras(Juan Carlos) from Montevideo,Uruguay.
I was looking 4 answering your interest in language files in Portuguese 4 Garmin Mobile PC.
What I've found and seems it will work for you is this little but funcional soft: "Voice utility 4 Garmin".
GMPc uses *.vpm files...and this utility opens this *.vpm file into its original *.wav files...soo..you have to edit and translate by recording your voice wavs...and finally make a new *.vpm file.

My Garmin mobile pc is already with brazilian portuguese voices.
let me know if you cant find the Portugues_Brazilian_.vpm file.
Perhaps the text would be a nice things because it has just 6 languages: American English, British english, francais, Italiano, Deutsch and Español.

Whats between inverted comas is the answer from a Garmin Team Member to my question if GMPc could have Portuguese/Brazilian lenguage.
Garmin nRoute prior version to 2.7.6 has portuguese voice but are wav files.Maybe some GPs has the Portuguese voice,but not GMPc...
