I download this bundles from garmin web site arethis bundles wil work with Garmin Mobile PC?

It looks like they should work just fine. Each bundle should contain some .SRF files. You should be able to place those files in the \GarminMobilePC\Vehicle folder and then they should be available for selection in Settings>Map>Vehicle.

Okay, I downloaded the Offroad bundle, unzipped the files to the \GarminMobilePC\Vehicles folder and they became available for selection in Settings>Map>Vehicle. Works like a charm. I didn't even have to exit Mobile PC. I left it running and the next time I went into the Settings>Map>Vehicle page they were all available for selection. Now I have a wicked dirt bike indicating my vehicle position.

I had a difficult time finding the bundles referred to .. Garmin's site isn't always the easiest place to navigate .. so for anyone else who wants to customize the vehicle indicator on their Mobile PC, here's the link to the bundles of vehicle files.

Marvin, if Fluor agrees, it might be a good idea to kick these messages, starting with Fluor's question, into a seperate thread. Perhaps a subject like "Changing your vehicle indicator icon in Mobile PC" or something like that.

No. There is no way to change the vehicle icon in nroute.

peejayw, thanks for the link. Have you tried to create your own icon? Was it difficult? I'll try to find some time to play with it one of these days.

No I havent tried but the concept seems simple enough. I would like to do my own vehicle, perhaps by taking a series of photos around it. Would be rather cool to see your own vehicle on the map!
