GPS software for Vista running on hp tablet computer
First, I wish to thank you for the curteous reception at my registering in.
As my thread title indicates, I have an hp pavillion notebook computer that runs MS Vista. I also have a very nice little GPS antenna that uses a USB-2 interface cable. I have no GPS software to marry that antenna and my computer. I am building a small kitplane and I want to use this laptop as a GPS display. Is there any hope for me? Thank you all. n.v.frederick |

Re: GPS software for Vista running on hp tablet computer
The 4 main programs discussed here will run on Vista and a standard USB GPS; S&T 2009 , SA 2009, iGuidance 2009 and Mobile PC. As to which would be the best for a kit plane, I have no experience. Download a 60 day trial of Microsoft S&T 2009 and see if it looks like something you could use.
