New addition to my truck setup

I think I found the problem with the white-screen shots. I'm pretty sure I burnt out the CCD in the camera. The only time it's not pure white now is if I take a shot of the inside of the truck.

I'll return this camera this weekend when I get home, but have a feeling I'll have a hard time finding one that can handle the bright lights of outdoors during a bright sunny day with snow everywhere.

I have accounts on Webshots and Photobucket. I used Webshots before Photobucket existed but Photobucket is now my primary photo site. It seems easier for me to use and to organize things. I only keep the Webshots account alive because some of the photos there have links to them from some woodworking discussion forums.

Can you put a peice of dark coloured plastic in front of it to reduce the intensity?
