NAVIGON Navigator 2.0 - review by JKKMobile

JKKMobile made a 25 minute long video review of NAVIGON Navigator 2.0. This excellent program is available for Europe and also for USA/Canada. For some reason it is difficult to locate it at the Navigon website. The website is geared more towards selling the PocketPC version and also the PNDs based on the software. However, at least the German version of the site lists the product. I personally had the opportunity to look at the PocketPC version some time ago, but I was unaware at that time of the existence of the laptop version. The program is not an inexpensive one, but for many users this may be the best solution for GPS navigation - especially if you are looking for something touch screen friendly.

I spent quite a while searching the web to find any info on where to buy. Unfortunately, even their own website hides this product so well. I wish they paid a bit more attention to marketing this fabulous PC product. There are some sources on the web of the EU version, but no one seems to sell the North American version. I just sent a quick e-mail to Navigon asking for info about their distributors of the North American product (and also asking for a review copy). As soon as I know more, I will post it here.

Let us know what you've come up with about the NavigatoR 2.0 for the US. I'm interested in it.

Also, have you seen the NavNGo iGO Limousine edition...it looks very good

I haven't yet received a reply from Navigon. I will attempt to contact them again in near future, but for now I will be busy with reviewing other software which hasn't yet been reviewed.

NavNGo iGO Limousine isn't something one could run on a laptop. It is a single-purpose unit which needs to be installed into a dashboard.
