PC Navigator 9 announced

PC Navigator 9 will be announced at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany (3.3. to 8.3.2009). You can find Mapfactor at hall 14 stand B04.

The following versions of PC Navigator 9 will be available:

• EUROPE
• AMERICA (Canada, Mexico, USA, Brazil)
• AFRICA (Botswana, Egypt, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe)
• MIDDLE EAST (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates)
• ASIA (Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand)

The new version of Mapfactor PC Navigator 9 will include:

- new simple user interface (mainly in search dialogue)
- new data from February 2009

A review will be posted here in the PC Navigator forum @ Laptop GPS World shortly after CeBIT.

I'm not sure about the release date, but I do have PC Navigator 9 Europe and also PC Navigator 9 USA/Canada here already. I just need to take the time to install, test, and start writing a review. I may actually start working on it today, if nothing else comes up.

So if the program is launched, why is it not listed on their web page??

Hmm. Got to send new mail...

It sometimes does happen that a new product may take a while to get listed on a web page.

I just heard from Steve (Chippy) of UMPC Portal that he will be testing the European version of Mapfactor PC Navigator 9 on Viliv S5 tomorrow, and his review will also be likely posted then at his site www.umpcportal.com - he does good reviews!

Yes I know, we are now working on our webside and eshop to change it.
But don’t worry, just place your order the same as for version 8 and we will send the version 9 {we don’t sell 8 anymore, just the adjustment of our webpage is taking a bit of time}.

As she says, just place order for v8, and they will send you v9 (they no longer have v8 available).

I will just wait for an answer from "Directions", because the prize with them is better for me than from Mapfactor ( currency issue..).

Directions LTD confirmed that they will send version 9, so orders for a bundle with receiver is placed...
