Laptop GPS World

I have an XP System and downloaded Streets & Trips 2008. It worked fine for over a month, but now will not open. I tried deleting/correcting and re-loading. No luck.

Any suggestions?

I take it Tom is using the term "download" generically, as many people use various computer terms interchangeably regardless of meaning.

Or is there somewhere that you can actually buy a licensed copy of S&T through download?

I've heard people use the word 'download', when in fact they mean 'install'. I'm not aware of Microsoft offering a download for MS Streets and Trips - but I do believe one can download a 60 day trial version of MS MapPoint.

I have downloaded ( no licensed ) MS ST2008, it shows I can use it 60 days without activation, but I can not find any exact address, I have try several addresses, even I put the city name, post code, still can not find the location.

I am not sure this is only for try version or licesed version? I using this way on ST2003, 2004, 2005 without any problems.

The safest thing to do would be to uninstall it completely, and then run a virus scan on your computer. Pirated software may be source of various problems.

Also, discussions of illegally acquired software is not amongst favorite topics here at this forum (see Forum Rules, rule # 5).
