Default MS Streets & Trips will not notify me soon enough to turn

I have Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008 & a cf30. s&t will not notify me me soon enough to turn. usually i have already past the street before s&t tells me to turn.

If i leave the program on in the truck, then get back in the next morning I also have to turn it off and back on because it locks up. I has never blanked out as yours has.

does yours take you in circles?

Hi airpro,

Welcome to Laptop GPS World.

I don't think this has anything to do with your GPS receiver. I would suspect the computer may be suffering from high CPU usage at the time when you experience these delays. Or is it off by .2 mile all the time?

Next time you drive, notice exactly how many seconds it takes for the GPS arrow to reach your location after you stop. It shouldn't take more than a second or two. The GPS receiver updates its location information once per second, and Microsoft Streets & Trips 2008 refreshes map about once per second, too.
