Will older USB GPS Locator work with new MS Streets & Trips?

will the gps unit from microsoft streets and trips 2006 work with the 2007 software, I lost my gps unit for 2007

I've used the same GPS puck since S&T 2004. I believe all the MS units are NEMA protocol, and should work with any version of the software. The newer locators use updated chip sets, and are more sensitive.

Note, however, that the 2007 GPS receiver was a substantial upgrade from the 2006 receiver. You can certainly make do with a 2006, but you may want to try and buy a better GPS receiver off eBay.
