Downloaded ST2009 three times from the Site posted and also Map Point 2009 and each time I start the install I receive a corrupt file at the end of the unzip. Has anyone else ran into this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Would love to take both of them for a run.
Thanks Riverratt

Streets and Trips 2009 download without an issue when I tested it. Try this: On your Internet Explorer (or other web browser): Tools => Internet Options => Browsing history => Delete => Temporary Internet files => Delete files ...
Others may suggest other ideas ...

Thanks for the suggestion but I have already tried that also. I will try to install the copy that you sent and see if that will work. Just want to take this one on a small trip next week and see how it does.

Riverratt, I attempted to e-mail you the file to the e-mail address you sent me, but it failed (as I expected it would). I could upload it via FTP for you, if you let me know where. In the past I had bad experience with the free services which let users send big files (over 1GB), so I don't think I want to go that route again.
![]() Perhaps someone will still give you an idea to try. I'd suggest to try another PC, or another Internet service provider (if you have access to more than one).

I have installed the Streets & Trips 2009 Trial version, but I can't get it to run. I always get a lengthy error message that starts out "A removable device or network share cannot be found". Does anyone know how to get around this error and make the trial version run?

Interesting, I've downloaded and installed S&T 2009 with no problems. Been using ir for a week now and love the improvements that have been made. With 2008 I didn't care for the view as perspective mode and would use the Dynamic Turn view. Now that they've changed the perspective mode to the Navigation View, it's what I use most of the time now. I like how they've made it zoom in as you approach your next push pin, way point, or turn like how the Dynamic Turn View does.
I hope that they release this soon, I'm getting tired of having that blasted screen pop up asking if I want to activate or use the trial version.... |
