I have just downloaded the 2009 version of S&T. I am a newbie in this world of GPS so I am just learning. I use ACT! 2008 contact management software and I would like to export my contacts into maps in S&T. Is there a way to do this?
I also have bought a Garmin Nuvi 360 to use as a auxiliary GPS navigator when I am not carrying my laptop. I would like to upload to it my maps and locations. is that possible? The other feature I am hoping to work is that I develop sales routes nationally for the sales reps and I want to be able to send them files with their route laid out for them and they just will upload them to their Garmin's. They don't carry their laptops with their sales kit so they use the portable navigators. Can this be done? |

It has been a few years since I used ACT, but if I remember correctly, ACT interfaces fairyl well with Microsoft Office applications. I would think that you would be able to export the contact information to an Excel spreadsheet and then upload it to Streets. This should also give you the flexibility to control the information you want to give out and what info from your database you wish to keep private. As to how all of this comes together with the Garmin products, someone else will have to jump in as I have not used that product. Good luck with your project.
