Cool, excellent topic . I myself have been thinking of doing something similar. Tom, let us know some details of how you end up doing it, when you are done with your project.

Couldn't get the Franson GPSGate Server to work. I think it may not be compatiable with Vista. Still looking!!

Tom, I just heard from Johan. He says, you can run Franson GPS Gate Server under Vista if you make a manual install. If you post your question to his forum (http://franson.com/forum) he will give you a step by step instructions there.

Good Morning! I tried that out and couldn't get it to install correctly. I think it may be due to I'm using Vista Ultimate and it gives me errors when installing.

You might take a look at :

Unlike Franson, this one does not charge a per-asset fee. At about $45 per unit, Franson can get expensive.
