Semsons extended the validity of the discount coupons for another year, till December 31, 2008. If anyone recently attempted to use the coupons, and got an error message saying the coupons were expired, sorry about that. The coupons are now valid again.

I just got a Holux cf gps but the discount didn't work ...I thought it was too old but now see here it was extended ...what to do?

I already got the order in the mail and it works fine. I didn't use the coupon. Elsewhere here, I posted questions about getting some navigation software for it too. "I have a winxppro thinkpad x31 with inboard cf slot for which I already purchased from you the Holux GR-271 which is plugged in and works fine with GPSview showing lots of satellites & data received. I also have an IPAQ 3635 PocketPC 2002 for which I have a PC Card expansion module allowing use of a pc card for added memory as well as a second slot to which I may apply a pccard/cf adapter and use the Holux device. What will the most effective (in usability and in cost) to use this device in BOTH situations?" Maybe the coupon can be applied to that, if you have something for my use? ...thanks!

Great, I'm glad it works fine. And just to prevent a possible misunderstanding by anyone reading this, please allow me to clarify where the discount is coming from. You are buying from Semsons.com, the discount is from Semsons.com. This website, this forum, and/or me personally don't benefit from the transaction financially at all.

You are not buying from "me". I don't own any store. The purpose of the discount coupons is to simply add a little bit of value to the members of this website. Semsons.com is a reputable store. If you see something in their store that you like, and if their price is good, then by all means use the coupons as many times as you wish. I will not see a single red cent out of the transaction, but I know you will be treated well by Semsons.com, that's all.

Having said that, I'm afraid it is not possible to apply the discount coupon to a transaction that was already completed even before you registered as a member at this website. But you are certainly more then welcome to apply the discounts anytime you need in the future.
