Actual Speed

I'd like to see the return of being able to program the speed you wish to travel instead of a sliding scale of slow/medium/fast. In an older version you could actually enter the speed you travel. We drive a motorhome and don't always drive 65mph like cars do.

Re: Actual Speed

Here's another vote for actual speed instead of sliders. And for the same reason!

Ditto ! Also like to see your actual speed shown in larger type & maybe able to change transparency of the speed display so it can float over the map area.

Re: Actual Speed

Hi
OK - you will see
http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/member...culations.html
Thats what I sometimes use.
Mostly for fun - cause the distance is only estimated likewise Garmin.
The actual speed is better look at the speedometer.
Well my motorhome have special small tyres, which gives app. 6% less on speedometer.
Still I'm look at the instruments .

Re: Actual Speed

I also want an actual speed vs the slider. I drive a motor-home too, and on the Interstates I usually drive at 60-62. I find the slider all the way to left is pretty accurate.
